CYP Lower – A Book Week Extravaganza
We have had the most amazing Book Week at Cypress Lower with the children, staff and parents all involved.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

Year 5 had a fantastic Book Week as they got to experience a poetry workshop with, one of Cypress’ favourite authors and storytellers – Margaret Bateson-Hill.
This week, year 3 had a very special visit from the highly acclaimed poet Joshua Seigal!

This week at the Lower Site, we have been thinking about the Pegasus value ‘We Care’.
Rainy days We have had rather a soggy week in Little Cypress with lots of rain and grey skies.
This morning, we started the day with a super assembly from Indigo Class.
It has been a fantastic first week back and the children have all settled back into school and their learning well.
This week, Year 2 at Cypress Primary visited London and walked a grand total of 13,000 steps!
Mathematicians in the making! In Little Cypress we have settled straight back in to the routines after our half-term break.
Today we opened the ‘Cypress Lower Museum’ for one day only.
This week the children have been working hard on their thematic work and creating some fantastic artefacts ready to share at our ‘Cypress Museum Day’ today.
It has been a fun-packed day at Cypress Upper! It was so lovely to see so many parents at school today for our annual Cypress Upper Museum Day!
We have had a short but fun-packed half-term here in Little Cypress and the staff have all been so impressed with how the children are developing their independence.
The Year 6 children will be undertaking their Key Stage Two SATs in just a few months, and we are all excited (on some level!)
