Beulah: It’s All Adding Up: Maths Week

At Beulah Infants, we decided that a single day wasn’t enough to contain our numerical enthusiasm, so we officially upgraded “Maths Day” to a full-blown Maths Week. The festivities kicked off with a spectacular dress-up day where the hallways were filled with human clocks, Numberblocks, and enough dice to rival a professional casino. Beyond the costumes, students dove into a high-energy Numbots morning, utilizing our school subscription to sharpen their digital math skills and build confidence through play. The tension remained high with our estimation station, where children put their logic to the test by guessing the number of chocolate eggs hidden in two jars. Every activity was designed with one core mission: to prove to our pupils that numbers are not just symbols in a book, but a fun and essential part of the world around them. It was a week of high-energy learning that showed our budding mathematicians just how “egg-citing” data can really be.
