CYPRESS – CYCLING CLUB – Sunday March 24th 2019

Cypress Cycling | March 24th 10am @ Grangewood | All Abilities

Feeling in the mood for a Sunday spin?

Join us at 10am by the playground at Grangewood Park. We’ll be running a beginners’ session in the park suitable for the youngest riders, while our ride leaders take an older group out to Norbury BMX Track via quiet back streets.

Grown ups – you will need to bring your own bike if you’re going with the older ones to the BMX track; all kids must have a responsible adult with them. Helmets and gloves are recommended for the BMX track.

Looks like nice weather but keep an eye on the forecast. Grangewood & Norbury parks are not well-provided with cafes or shops (boo, hiss) so please bring snacks and drinks!

Save 10% on kids & adults bikes with Cypress CC – just mention us when you shop at Blue Door

If your kids are outgrowing their current bike or you fancy something new and shiny for yourself, we’re running an offer with Blue Door who offer excellent Raleigh, Dawes, Squish, Tern and Koga bikes amongst others – including electrics to take the sting out of the hills. Just pop in to the shop and mention us at the checkout, and you’ll get 10% off.

We also have bikes that can be borrowed for short of long term loans.

Bike Buddy Ride2Work

This one’s for the grown-ups – we’ve had a few people asking about routes in towards Zone 1 for riding to work; it’s always nice to have someone show you some of the quieter routes & short cuts as they aren’t always obvious and pick up some tips on commuting the BEST way. Drop us an email or speak to one of the organisers if you’d like to find out more.
