This week in Gold Class we have been reading the story book “What Makes a Rainbow.”
Help! Aliens have invaded Year 1! As part of our learning in literacy this week, we have been reading ‘The Man on the Moon’ by Simon Bartram.
This month we have enjoyed celebrating Black History together. We were joined virtually by Alim Kamara who inspired us with his storytelling.
As part of Black History Month, this week reception looked at the aviator Bessie Coleman also known as ‘Brave Bessie’.
At Whitehorse Manor Infant School we have been celebrating Black History Month.
Croydon Libraries BHM event with Akitoye Sunday during half-term on Thursday 28th October, 11am at Norbury Library.
Last week in Nursery we read the book ‘Owl Babies.’ The children really enjoyed the story and embraced the activities on offer.
Music Relief Foundation was founded in 2011 by Magdalene Adenaike and is now based at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre.
Year 2 were visited by Nabhi this week who delivered a captivating and inspiring workshop about Diwali.
This week in Nursery we have been singing the nursery rhyme ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.’
It was lovely to see lots of parents attending the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum meetings.
In Year 1 we read the book ‘I Want My Hat Back’ by Jon Klassen.
Hello to all the new reception parents! The children have all settled in nicely and are now used to the daily routines of school life.
