Key Stage 2 Performance Tables – year on year comparisons

Changes in SATs testing mean figures before 2016 cannot be directly compared with previous years.  Previous attainment data is provided for information and to help compare the school’s results to those nationally and locally.

Percentage of children making expected progress from KS1 to KS2 based on prior attainment

Progress scores are presented as positive and negative numbers and calculated by finding the average of pupils’ individual progress scores.  Progress measures based on prior attainment do not take account of the context of the school.

A score of 0 means pupils, on average, made the same progress at key stage 2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.

A positive score means pupils, on average, made more progress at key stage 2 than those with similar prior attainment nationally.

A negative score means pupils, on average, made less progress at key stage 2 than those with similar prior attainment nationally.
