Year 5’s Viking Adventure
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed Viking Day which was packed with exciting activities and new learning experiences.

Despite the cold weather this week, the children have been working hard during their outdoor learning sessions.
This week, EPS took part in a national times tables competition set up by Times Table Rock Stars called England Rocks!
Today, both our year 1 classes had the most exciting adventure as they jetted off to the moon.
Despite the colder weather, Little Ecclesbourne children love nothing more than learning outside.
It was lovely to see so many of our nursery parents and carers join us this week for our first reading café at Little Ecclesbourne this year.

Satellites class enjoyed the Autumn sunshine during their Outdoor Learning lesson today.
Today Little Ecclesbourne welcomed some feathery visitors and asked lots of questions to find out even more about the owls and hawk.
This week we’ve been thinking about Harvest and have had a busy week of learning and celebrating.
The theme for Black History Month 2024 is ‘Reclaiming Narratives’ and marks a significant shift towards recognising and correcting the narratives of Black history and culture.
A huge thank you to all our families who donated cake and came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning last week – together we raised a whopping £160 for the charity!
Little Ecclesbourne children have been reading the story Owl Babies. We have been talking about where owls live and exploring the materials they use to make their nests.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the meeting last night all about our residential camping trip to Cuffley!
Today, the children and staff of Ecclesbourne put their best denim-clad foot forward in support of Jeans for Genes, raising a fantastic £236 for the charity!
