Ofsted
Our latest inspection took place on the 31st January 2018 and reflects the progress the school has made since joining the Pegasus Academy Trust.
The school is now rated good (2) overall with outstanding grades (1) for behaviour and leadership.
The report is extremely positive about the progress the school has made since the previous inspection in March 2014. The report highlights the ‘excellent behaviour’ and the outstanding personal development of pupils. It recognises the ‘unequivocal moral commitment’ of leaders to ensuring that ‘all pupils achieve their best’. It also notes that ‘the stimulating
curriculum and extra-curricular provision… means ‘pupils receive a broad and balanced
education, rich in learning experiences.’
We are proud of the progress the school has made and pleased that this has now been acknowledged by Ofsted. At Pegasus we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to attend a local school that is at least good. We are delighted that at Ecclesbourne we can now offer a good school for the local community. We will continue working to make this school even better than it is now.
Parents are welcome to visit by arrangement with the Head of School, Paul Robins, to see the changes that have taken place for themselves. Please call the school using the contact details on the ‘contacts’ page. We look forward to showing you our school.
