To help get everyone excited about books, we hosted our annual ‘Books, Beans and Bagels’ breakfast morning.
Ecclesbourne were luckily enough to have author Michael DeSouza visit this week.
Chants of ‘Take it off, take if off!’ echoed down the corridors at Ecclesbourne Primary School as children tried to guess who the masked reader was.
On Monday, Paul Lyalls visited Ecclesbourne to kick start this year’s Book Week.
Today, in Year 1, we had a special visitor from the Toy Museum.
The doors opened to a sea of visitors this morning as we began our annual Museum Day.
At Pegasus, we believe that all children can achieve in maths and we have been working with the NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics) to develop a project that is applying current research on how children learn to problem-solve.
A very big congratulations to Years 5 and 6 at Ecclesbourne who this year became composers for the English National Opera.
On Wednesday, the children in Year 6 at EPS visited The British Museum.
On Friday, schools across the trust participated in an interschool poetry competition.
Our KS1 Nativity was incredible! Aliens descended on Ecclesbourne to narrate the Christmas story.
Our newly formed Ecclesbourne PTFA have had an incredible year and we are so grateful for their hard work.
This week our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes dazzled audiences with their Christmas variety show.
This week EPS netball teams have had their first netball matches of the season against Norbury Manor and Winterbourne Against Norbury Manor, EPS first team, captained by Amiah, played very well -once they settled down and took at 2:0 lead.
