EPS: Year 5 at the British Museum
Year 5 had a fantastic day out yesterday at London’s famous British Museum.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

Year 5 had a fantastic day out yesterday at London’s famous British Museum.
Children in Year 4 at EPS have been learning to multiply using practical resources and by working together in pairs.
Congratulations to the EPS boys’ football team for a fantastic win this afternoon against Norbury Manor who put up some stiff competition.
This half term, children from across all the Pegasus schools came together to perform poems in front of a panel of judges.
EPS’s boys’ football team put in a spirited performance to beat Elmwood 4-2.
In Year 3, we have been studying the book ‘Jemmy Button’ by Jennifer Uman and Valerio Vidali.
At Ecclesbourne we would like to say a massive thank you to Lidl who have been helping us with our breakfast provision.
This term in Year 1 we have been covering the thematic topic ‘Toys’.
Congratulations to all the children who completed their reading challenge over the Christmas holidays!

This week the children were so happy to return to school.
This week we were delighted to welcome families to watch a live performance of the Nativity by Years 1 and 2.
This term, our school council have been working with one of our Ecclesbourne parents to test the inspirational Figures of Black British Society (FOBBS) app, an educational resource which focuses on delivering high-quality information on significant figures with Black British heritage.

Recently, year 3 have been studying Aesop’s fables. We have discussed the features of a fables and what makes them different from fairy tales as well as learning about what a moral is and how the fables convey these morals.
