EPS – Reception Reading Café
Thank you to all the Reception families who joined us for our reading café this afternoon.
For those parents who will be applying for a reception place for their child for September 2026 we have arranged a series of visits so that they can look around the schools with senior staff.
If you wish to view a school please see here for the available dates. Obviously we have to limit numbers so only parents/carers who have booked will be able to attend.

Today, we hosted a books, beans and bagels morning to celebrate the ‘Great Big Breakfast’ which is kindly sponsored by Magic Breakfast.
Our year 3 children started the week off with a fantastic workshop with RedSTART.
It was lovely to see so many of our nursery parents and carers join us this week for our termly reading cafe.
Award winning poet, Joshua Seigal, has got World Book Week underway with an inspirational assembly.
Today, Ecclesbourne pupils and staff pulled out all the stops to dazzle the visiting crowds with a variety of carefully-curated exhibitions.

This week we enjoyed a lovely reading cafe in Key Stage 1.
On Tuesday 30th January, Key Stage 2 pupils at Ecclesbourne were treated to an motivational talk by James Ketchell.
The snow is melting, flowers are blooming, and the days are getting warmer.
Little Ecclesbourne children have been chasing the Gingerbread Man in and out of their classroom.
On Monday, the Ecclesbourne choir performed at the Young Voices event at the O2 arena as part of ‘the largest school choir in concert the world’.
