If you don’t have the materials suggested for making the shaduf, why not have a look around your home, maybe in the recycling, to see what you could use instead – be inventive!!

Extra Fun!

Trust-wide challenge

This week, we would like you to write a poem or design a poster which describes your thoughts and feelings about how Black Lives Matter.
You can use the following questions to support your ideas:
  • Why is BLM important?
  • What does diversity look like to you?
  • What is equality and what does it look like to you?
  • Why is equality important?
  • What values are important to you?
  • What is a community?
See below for some examples of posters and poems to inspire you.
Don’t forget that, if you choose to do a poem, it does not have to rhyme.  An acrostic poem using a key word, such as equality or diversity, would make a lovely poem.
If you choose to do a poster, don’t forget to make it eye-catching!
Please share your finished product on your blog or email it to yr6@pegasusacademytrust.org – we love seeing your work!

The Big End of Year Picture Quiz

Can you work you what the close up pictures are of?  Have a go in the powerpoint below named ‘ The Big End of Year Picture Quiz’.  Good luck!!
