Year 4 Trip to the National Maritime Museum

On 12th October 4P and 4H went to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. We travelled by coach to the museum and it took us 40 minutes. When we arrived we toured the galleries and particularly enjoyed the Exploration gallery. It was fun because we heard sound effects such as ship's timbers creaking and men shouting orders. After lunch we went to other galleries and we saw real figureheads from real Tudor galleons! Later we met a Tudor servant and he taught us how to give reverence to the King. We also learnt about the great chain. We had a great time.  Aaliyah Gordon 4H
