At Whitehorse Manor Junior school, we have been celebrating the importance of reading. For the last few weeks we have hosted a ‘Reading Breakfast’ for parents to come along and read to their child. It has been fantastic to see so many eager parents and children, who have enjoyed the experience of reading to each other. Buster, our ‘Pets as Therapy’ dog, was also a great addition to the morning. Children had the opportunity to read to him and build their confidence in reading skills.
We are very grateful for the parental support. Thank you!
