News Year 3

During science last week, the children investigated soil permeability.  They used four different soil samples and made sure the test was fair by using the same amount of soil and water. 

Today, Whitehorse Manor Junior School was infiltrated by a swarm of superheroes and villains from many different universes.

Children in Year 3 experienced life as Victorian children as they were sent back in time during a fun-filled Museum Day.

In recent weeks, Year 3 classes across the Pegasus Academy Trust have had the opportunity to visit their local library.

Over the last couple of weeks, Year 3 have been learning about fractions in Maths. 

Children have been reminded about the importance of staying safe online. 

On Wednesday 19th December, Whitehorse Manor Junior School invited parents and carers into school to take part in the crafts and carols afternoon.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Whitehorse Manor Junior choir set off to the Whitgift Centre and the local Tesco to sing Christmas carols.

On Monday and Tuesday, Year 3 and Year 5 showed off their exceptional talent in their Christmas production- ‘Can you feel the wind?’.
