This week our wonderful year 3s have been learning all about the artist Anthony Gormley, a very well-known sculptor and Andy Goldsworthy who is a very popular land artist. The children have enjoyed showing off their artistic flair throughout the week. They have had great fun getting creative… and just a little bit messy designing, making and carving Stone Age Pots. They’ve also been creating Stonehenge silhouettes against a painted sunset backdrop. Some year 3s have been really impressing us with their Stone Age jewellery as well as foraging for items outdoors to create their own land art influenced by Andy Goldsworthy.
