We have had another great week, with Safer Internet day on Tuesday, where we focused on staying safe online and Screen Free Friday today – embracing the amazing learning opportunities that occur away from a screen. I hope you have enjoyed this last week before the half term. There is so much to look forward to when we return, including Book Week beginning 1st March, where we will have assemblies and workshops with amazing and inspirational authors! We can’t wait!
Gold Awards
The gold awards this week were for being an outstanding independent learner. It was so hard for teachers to select their winners as we are so proud of all of our children for adapting so well to their online learning, showing determination and perseverance each day. Year 4 also received their Gold Award from the previous half-term for positive behaviour.
Upper Norwood Association for Community Care (UNACC) is offering free meals that require reheating for children during the February half term, available for pick up on days the centre is open, 12.30pm – 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, meals are made to order and must be ordered in advance. Meals must be ordered by 6pm the day before pick up.
