This week Year 2 have enjoyed getting their hands dirty using sketching pencils, clay and paint! We undertook a series of observational drawings of mini beasts and then chose our favourite drawing. This drawing was then improved, focussing on adding detail and checking for accurate proportions. Using clay tools, we rolled our clay into a tile shape, cut it to size and then engraved the imprint of our mini beast design. Finally we painted our tiles to make them look colourful and beautiful. We had such a great week!
