Minibeast madness at Morden Hall Park

Year 2 had a fantastic day out at Morden Hall Park. With the sun shining, the children experienced ultimate minibeast habitats first hand. Under some logs, they discovered spiders, harvestmen and some slimy worms and slugs. They also had a go at river dipping with one lucky group finding some waterlice and greenflies. We were joined by an enthusiastic dog to brighten up our picnic lunch on the luscious green grass. Completing an awesome trip, the children enjoyed some fun in a playground that included a zip wire as part of a mini obstacle course.
