Year 1 have hit the ground running, returning from their Easter break eager to learn. Within our maths sessions, we have been focusing on halving. We started by halving shapes and challenged ourselves to match two halves together to make one complete shape. Following on from this, we looked at how to halve numbers practically using counters and cubes. Here’s our hard work!
