During Art Week year 1 has been focusing on the French painter Claude Monet and some of his artwork in particular, the piece ‘Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies’. First we looked at a tree in the playground and pictures of trees to complete observational drawings in the classroom. We continued by using different art media to create pieces in the style of Monet. We really enjoyed getting creative this week and we hope you like our artwork!
