In year 1 this week, we have been writing about the Easter Story. We learnt that Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later. For this reason, many people see spring as the season of rebirth and new life. This is why Easter eggs are a significant part of Christian religious celebration. We then went on to discuss the significance of Easter symbols, such as Easter eggs, when we made our Easter baskets.
