Today we were treated to an amazing assembly by Oak Class. They took us through their learning journey and explained how to create complex sentences, use relative pronouns and move subordinate clauses to add interest to our writing. We also saw skillfully crafted origami birds, hearts and butterflies they had created during their sessions devised to develop their resilience. They finished the assembly of with a nod to their new thematic topic, ‘Greece Is the Word’, by performing the Bee Gee’s song of the same title to a thrilled audience! What a fantastic start to the year! Thank you to the teachers and support staff: Ms Horvatova, Ms Brewer and Ms Sa Walmsley, and a huge well done to Oak Class!
