We are proud of ourselves and proud of each other

Part of our ‘Pegasus People’ ethos is: ‘We are proud of ourselves and proud of each other’ so I am delighted to share some news that will make us all feel proud.  Firstly, I’d like to say ‘well done’ to Ms Tye and our dedicated Teaching Assistants who have been working hard to develop pupils’ early reading skills through a focused phonics programme.  All the children involved have put great effort into moving through their phonics phases and learning their tricky words.  It was lovely to see how proud Ms Gray was to share some work from her group.  Secondly, I’d like to say ‘well done’ to Mrs Dyges.  Last year, Mrs Dyges started work on achieving the WIRE (Widening Inclusivity in RE) award for Whitehorse Manor Junior school, to demonstrate our excellent practice in teaching RE.  We were all very pleased to share her success in achieving this award for the school and the certificate is now on display by our trophy cabinet.  We are so proud of you guys!
