This week in Reception we were fortunate enough to have a very exciting visit from Zoo Lab! The Zoo Lab handler brought in 5 very interesting animals to show us. He showed us a giant African snail, a stick insect, a millipede, a tarantula and a corn snake! We were able to touch some of these animals and got to learn lots of exciting facts about them too. Did you know that a millipede will curl itself up to make itself look like a poo so that predators won’t want to eat it! Yuck!
