This week, Nursery have been reading ‘We’re Going on an Egg Hunt’ by Martha Mumford. They then took part in an ‘eggciting’ egg hunt around the classroom. The children were encouraged to look closely at the different patterns on each of the eggs they found and used words such as zigzag, stripy and polka dot to describe what they could see. They then explored some simple repeated patterns and had a go at finishing their own two colour repeated pattern. Another fun filled week in nursery!
