Violet class ‘Children in Need’ assembly

Violet class amazed us this morning with a fabulous assembly teaching us all about the ‘Children in Need’ charity, including the important work they do fundraising to support other children’s charities. Everyone learnt their lines, spoke wonderfully and treated us all to two beautiful songs; ‘Children rule the world’ and ‘Children need a helping hand’. Thank you to the staff and children in violet class for a wonderful assembly.

Our School Council decided that all Cypress children and staff(!) should wear their pyjamas to school today to raise money for Children in Need. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised nearly £200 for this worthwhile cause and had a very snuggly day!
