We have been asked by two very worthwhile organisations to draw your attention to surveys that they are running at the moment. The first survey is the ‘Big Ask’ which is being run on behalf of Rachel de Souza, the Children’s Commissioner for England. This is the largest ever survey of children and young people in England and Rachel and her team will use what you tell them to show the government what you think and what children need to live happier lives. This survey is very child friendly with lots of different versions for children of different ages. To take part please CLICK HERE.
The second survey is run by the London Youth Assembly (LYA) and seeks to find out more about the impact of COVID-19 and the lockdowns on education and opportunities for young people in London, including those from disadvantaged groups. The survey has questions that ask what young Londoners have experienced in the education system during the pandemic. Data from this survey will form the LYA’s research into the effects of COVID-19 and lockdowns on education. We will use the findings to develop recommendations to be presented to the Mayor of London.
