Some of you may have noticed that we have had some work done on the school grounds during the half term break. At the back of the school we have always had a large patch of nettles that detract from our school grounds and take up space that children could enjoy. During the holidays, the diggers moved in and cleared the ground. The soil will now be prepared so that by next Summer, hopefully, we will have a beautiful wild flower garden that will attract insects and bees and maybe other species too. In the meantime, please keep your children off this area as it has been treated with weedkiller to prevent the nettles growing back.
