This week has been another busy and productive week at the Upper School, our school council had their first meeting, we have been cycling to school for Bike to School Week and we have been exercising our ‘learning muscles’, in particular learning to manage distractions and take time to notice things around us in the classroom and details of our work, in order to improve. We have also been enjoying our Game of the Week’ – Relay Connect 4 and some of our old favourites such as ‘Pat Ball’ and ‘Four Square’. Year 5 have been enjoying dance sessions and Year 4 have been exploring themes of trust, honesty and hope in their book this week, ‘The Promise’. A big well done goes to Nicole in Cedar Class for winning the coveted ‘Word Wizard’ rosette for an amazing sentence using our word of the week for last week, ‘chaotic’! Larch class and Tabitha has been placed on our ‘Wonder Wall’ for writing showing attention to detail and great vocabulary choices. Keep it up!
