Year 3 had a special visit from poet Joshua Seigal this week as part of their book week celebrations. It was kick started with an assembly where Josh shared and performed some of his poems with lots of participation from the children. Following this, he visited each year 3 class and shared some insightful tips on how to write poetry before getting the children themselves to step into his shoes and create their own imaginative poems. The children showed great enthusiasm and worked extremely hard to get their published poems together. Visit year 3 to have a nose at some of their work. A special thank you to the PTFA and Ms Parker for helping to organise these wonderful events.
