We understand that not everyone has access to lots of arty resources so here are some simple and fun ideas which can be completed using paper and a pen or pencil.
Draw with Rob
When the coronavirus pandemic quarantine period began in Spring/Summer 2020, Rob Biddulph realised that lots of people were going to find themselves at home with their children for several weeks/months looking for things to do. So he decided to post a draw-along video every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am GMT that parents could watch with their kids and, hopefully, make some nice pictures. Here they all are:
Make a paper horse that walks
The project is a little fiddly and involves some maths, but it’s SUCH FUN when you get your horse walking! Amazing!
Origami for kids
Let the folding fun begin! There is a whole bunch of amazing (and easy) origami for kids projects waiting for you on this page – all of these have a step by step tutorials showing how to make them!
Why not have a go at some of these 3-D drawings? You can amaze your family with these simple optical illusions.
