The children at Cypress Lower Site have really unleashed their inner Joe Wicks this week, embracing Health and Fitness Week with amazing energy! We have all been incredibly impressed with the way the children have taken up the challenges and shown us how much they value their physical health. Thank you so much for all the wonderful photos you have been sending in of the children doing different exercises and workouts. We have included a few in our photo gallery.
Our Rainbow Certificate Assemblies this morning were particularly heart-warming, as we celebrated children from each class who have displayed particular Learning Powers during this period of Home Learning. We wanted to pay particular tribute to the Parents/Carers who continue to do such an amazing job in supporting the children and the work of the school during this unprecedented time and therefore have awarded a special Rainbow Certificate to all Parents/Carers today; thank you so much for all you are doing! It was also lovely to see Mrs Sorensen and baby Daisy who joined us for the KS1 Assembly; wonderful to see you both!
On Friday 12th February, all of the Pegasus Academy Trust Schools will be taking part in ‘Screen-free Friday’. The purpose of ‘Screen-free Friday’ is to allow the children to have a day of broader experiences that are not restricted to being in front of a screen and to give them an opportunity to to explore their more creative side.
