It has been wonderful to see all the children in Nursery and Rainbows settle straight back in to life in Little Cypress, following the Easter break. We have been so lucky with the weather this week and have been making the most of our amazing outside space by visiting Forest School, our adventure playground and of course our own playgrounds and grassed areas.
We have been closely observing how our tadpoles are growing and changing, doing beautiful pastel drawings of cherry blossom after noticing our stunning tree in our nursery playground, printing with all the vegetables from the story ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’, as well as trying to remember the names of all of the vegetables we used, including rhubarb, beetroot and spinach!
We created an underwater scene after reading the book ‘Tiddler’ and had great fun re-telling the story whilst we were playing with the sea creatures, as well as capturing some of the fish in the nets, just as Tiddler had been caught!
We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
