What a fabulous final week of this half term we have had in Little Cypress! We have been exploring pumpkins and using our fine motor skills to make shapes and manipulate the elastic bands and buttons with the pins. Towards the end of the week we scooped the insides out of the pumpkins and had great fun squeezing the contents and closely observing the pumpkin seeds. We have been thinking about the Halloween colours of orange, black, purple and green and counting and sorting objects in those colours.
We are all incredibly proud of how amazingly well our youngest children have settled in to life in Little Cypress and are learning to be resilient, determined and independent around our setting. We have now completed our first half term of the school year and we’d like to thank all the parents and carers for adapting so quickly to ensure that our site remains Covid-secure. We are sorry you can’t see first hand all the wonderful activities and learning that goes on in Little Cypress, but hope that these photos give you a little insight each week.
Have a wonderful half term break and look forward to seeing you all when we return.
