Rain didn’t stop play in Little Cypress this week! Despite the wind and rain throughout the week, we packed in so much learning, as usual, and learned how important the rain is to help our plants grow and for animals and humans to survive. We remembered many Nursery Rhymes about the rain including Doctor Foster; It’s Raining, it’s Pouring; Incy Wincy and I Hear Thunder.
We planted broad beans after reading different versions of Jack and the Beanstalk and hope that they might grow really tall, just like the beanstalk in the story!
We have shown a great interest in writing, drawing, making collages and counting this week, as well as enjoying using our Cress Mountain as a jungle!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that the sun makes an appearance at some point!
