CYP LOWER – Planting and patterns in Little Cypress!

Our Growing theme continues and our Cress Mountain was fully grown and lustrous when we came in to school on Monday morning. We used the mustard and cress to make cress sandwiches and then it made a wonderful home for our mini-beasts. Our beans have started to sprout as well, so we are closely observing to see who has the tallest beanstalk in a few weeks’ time!

We have been really interested in making patterns this week. We created some incredible designs on the peg boards and did some repeating patterns with the Spring shapes, dipped in paint. We also noticed patterns on creatures such as tigers, leopards, giraffes, zebras, butterflies and ladybirds.

Some lovely ladies knitted some beautiful outfits for our dolls, so we made them a huge card to say thank you.

We hope you all have a wonderful long weekend!
