CYP LOWER – Little Cypress – Rain, rain, go away!

We have had a week of showers and not very much sunshine! We have enjoyed singing plenty of songs about the rain and thinking about how important it is for the plants, animals and our environment.

Caterpillars arrived in Little Cypress this week and we have been watching them very closely to see if they are growing. We have enjoyed listening to one of our favourite stories, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. We are very excited to see how they turn in to butterflies.

In addition to all the other things we have been learning, we have been thinking about the important father figures in our lives ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday. We have made some very smart ties for our daddies and grandads with amazing patterns on them. We also thought about why we love them.

Have a wonderful weekend!
