Despite only having a short week, we have packed plenty of exciting learning in the past three days! We have been thinking about Bonfire Night and all the colours and noises associated with fireworks. We have done some amazing firework art by rolling marbles and small balls in paint and then swilling them around a tray to make some fantastic firework shapes and patterns.
We have also taken a great interest in numbers in the environment and were very impressed at how proficient even our very youngest children are with ordering numbers, as well as counting objects and corresponding accurately by touching each object as they work.
We are looking forward to an exciting half-term ahead with Diwali, Remembrance Day and Christmas all coming up, as well as so many other fun and inspiring activities. Have a wonderful weekend!
