CYP LOWER – Autumnal Fun in Little Cypress!

What a fabulous week we have had in Little Cypress! The children in Rainbows, Gold and Silver Classes are growing in confidence with every day that passes and we are so impressed with how quickly they are settling in and making friends. We know that the Covid-19 precautions mean that parents/carers can’t see our wonderful setting on a day to day basis as they could in the past, but we hope that these new stories each week will give you a glimpse in to some of the activities and fun the children have been having.

This week, the children have been fascinated by Autumn and have loved listening to the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ and acting it out as well! They have also loved exploring our tables of treasures and in particular the brass items. Being outside has been a very popular choice and activities have including playing in the shop and home corner, riding on the bikes, playing with the train set and garage, creating amazing structures with the construction materials and reading books on our patio.

Next week we will starting our 1:1 keyworker reading sessions in Nursery and Rainbows. Please ensure your child brings to school a bookbag or rucksack large enough to hold a book, their reading diary and spare clothes in case of accidents.

We all hope you have a fantastic weekend and look forward to more fun and laughter in Little Cypress next week!
