Year 4 visit to the Museum of London

Year 4 had an exiciting visit to the Museum of London on 30th April.  As part of the children's thematic studies, they learnt more about the Victorian era and what it was actually like to live at that time.  They were able to walk the Victorian streets and take part in a Victorian photographic workshop, where their image was superimposed onto a Victorian style back drop.  During the Victorian era, which takes its name from Queen Victoria who reigned from 1837-1901, England became a world 'superpower', with the technology developed during the era bringing about a social and economic revolution, the effects of which are still felt today.
