Year 4 ‘invade’ the Museum of London!

Year 4 braved the cold recently to go on a trip to the Museum of London in the heart of the City. Our new thematic topic, Invaders and Settlers, begins when the Romans left Britain around 400AD and focuses on the Anglo Saxons. During the trip, the children were able to take part in a workshop held inside a typical Anglo Saxon dwelling and met a 'real-life' Anglo Saxon who was descended from the Vikings! They also got to study the amazing artefacts left over from the period and even got to dress up in the clothes of the time. It was a very informative day out and a great way to kick off our new topic.
