On Monday and Tuesday this week, Year 4 visited the British Wildlife Centre in East Sussex as part of their science topic on habitats. Despite freezing temperatures, the children had a fantastic and very educational day out. Pupils were able to see and learn about a huge variety of natural British wildlife such as foxes, deer, badgers, red squirrels, otters, pole cats, harvest mice, hedgehogs and even a pair of Scottish wildcats! The keepers at the centre were excellent hosts and really knew their animals. It was a fantastic trip and we're already looking to book up for next year!
