This week has been Healthy week at Cypress. On the upper site, it has been a week filled with healthy treats and healthy hearts. The children started off the week completing a range of circuits in order to get their hearts pumping. This was followed on up by ‘Tasting Tuesday’, where the children brought in range of healthy fruits a vegetables. We had lots from avacados, blueberries, broad beans, cherries to mangoes, pineapples, rhubarb and radishes. Wednesday saw the children making some moves in the form of line dancing, zumba and Bollywood. On Thursday, all of the KS2 classes ran a mile. It was tough but they all made it. Finally, on Friday parents got creative and we saw an influx of traditional healthy food dishes from around the world. The children were very positive and endeavoured to broaden their palates by trying lots of these dishes. It was a fantastic week. Thank you to all the parents and the children for getting involved.
