EPS Year 3 spend the day in the Stone Age

On Tuesday, Year 3 were visited by three people from the Stone Age.  We found out all about life in the Stone Age.  Our 3 visitors were Wood, Sea and Mema.  Wood taught us about all the objects you would find in a Stone Age hunting pack and how we could set traps.  Sea taught us about setting up a fishing rod and how to clean a hide so that it could be worn.  Mema showed us Stone Age tools and we had a go at drilling. We also learnt how to make a fire and got to see a mackerel gutted and cooked.  Wood also made us our own Stone Age hand axe to keep in class.  What an amazing day we had!
