We have had another very busy week in Little Cypress. Some wonderful new children have started in Rainbows and have settled in beautifully. They have slotted in to the class as if they have always been here! Well done!
We have been learning about Spring, including lifecycles and signs of Spring all around us. We have been learning lots of songs with a Spring theme, including ‘Spring is Here’, ‘Five Little Speckled Frogs’, ‘There’s a Tiny Caterpillar on a Leaf’ and many more.
Friday was particularly special because the Rainbow children and staff, along with Mrs Roberts, despite the inclement weather, made a visit to a local care home to deliver cards to Ethel, who turned 100 today! What an amazing achievement! The children had a window visit with Ethel and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ to her, as well as handing over all the beautiful cards and messages that children in Cypress Lower had made for her. The children behaved beautifully and we were so proud of them.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
