Reception enjoyed a week of learning around plants! With great excitement, the children planted their own pea and cress seeds and will be carefully observing how quickly they grow over the coming weeks! They loved sharing Rachel Isadora’s version of ‘The Princess and the Pea’ story and looking at the colourful African setting shown in the exquisite illustrations. They also had great fun acting out Jack and the Beanstalk. Finally, both classes sang about plants and flowers in their class assemblies but don’t worry if you missed them recordings are available on their individual class blogs.
