EPS Spooky scenes inspire suspense writing

We took advantage of the foggy morning today to get out and about and inspire our writing.  With a heavy mist laying across the field and fog settling in the local cemetery, Year 5 took the opportunity to have a walk and investigate what they could hear, see and feel as they moved silently though the mist.  With the eerie silence between the graves, bejewelled cobwebs on the gates and ‘threads of web hanging like zip wires between the bushes’, (Naarah and Liku) there was plenty to inspire our writing.  Some children even said they’d like to stay the night!
