It has been a very busy week at Cypress; we have been enjoying our assemblies this week focusing on noticing and really noticing how much fantastic learning we can do when we are managing our distractions, absorbed and determined to persevere. We have been learning to write well-structured, descriptive stories in Year 6 and 3, looking closely at the value of digits in a number in Year 4 and using noticing powers during a session of observational drawing in Year 5. There have also been lots of reasons to celebrate this week, with lots of visitors to the office. So many children are using their resilience skills and producing wonderfully detailed and imaginative pieces of work! Well done to: Flora, Alima, Billy, Haddy, Miyah, Owen, Molly and Ilaria who finished the week on our ‘Wonder Wall’!
Class blogs and home learning
To log into their class blog, your child will need to login with their .306 login, which you can find on their IT passport inside their reading diaries. Click here to access a handy ‘how to’ guide to help parents/carers and children upload images and comments on their blogs. For help with home learning please refer to our letter sent home at the end of September or make contact with a member of staff.
Well done to those children who have been using their class blog to share home learning. There have been amazing examples of home learning shared already!
