CYP – Musical Evening at St John’s Church

On Wednesday evening, children and families from Cypress were treated to an amazing display of musical talent.  The audience enjoyed both group and solo performances from children playing violins, ‘cellos, recorders, pianos, guitars, ukuleles, flutes and steel pans. How fantastic that we have such a range of different instruments available for children to learn at Cypress! Our talented Lower School and Upper School choirs also performed emotive songs to our audience.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise our Musical Evening and to our staff and parents/ carers for encouraging the supporting their children.  Special thanks go to Fiona Thompson (violin), Mark Roadnight (guitar), Anne Wharton (piano), Jo Watts (piano), Abilgail Smith (recorder), Kirsty Budgen (‘cello), Jason Butcher (steel pans), Jennifer Benjamin (choir) and Ms Sampson for compering the evening.
