CYP LOWER – NSPCC Sponsorship – Grand Total Revealed!

Rachael, from the NSPCC, came back to see us in assembly this morning to tell us the exciting news regarding how much money we had raised for our sponsored activities. We were astounded to hear that we had raised the incredible amount of £1072.25! This is a truly fantastic effort and we were so proud that the children at Cypress Lower put such energy and enthusiasm in to raising money for this wonderful charity. We also heard that Orange Class managed to collect in the most envelopes, so they got a special certificate to celebrate this achievement – well done!

Rachael reiterated the message of Speak Out, Stay Safe to ensure that we all feel we can talk to someone if we are worried about anything. We said goodbye to Buddy the mascot who had been staying at Cypress for the past few days. Rachael gave everyone in the school a special NSPCC badge.

A huge thank you to all the grown-ups at home for so kindly supporting the children with the sponsorship donations.
